Stopped before it is a problem
Invalid quantities can be blocked at add-to-cart and reverted on update, so the shopper is corrected immediately rather than at checkout.
Checkout that stays honest
While the cart breaks a rule, the checkout buttons can be hidden on both the cart and the mini-cart, so nobody reaches payment with an invalid order.
Messages in your own words
Each rule has its own message, with placeholders for the products involved and the limit value, so shoppers read something specific instead of a generic error.

Cart limits
Leave a field empty to disable it.
- Cart minimum quantity — fewest items allowed in total
- Cart maximum quantity — most items allowed in total
- Cart minimum total — subtotal required before checkout
- Cart maximum total — subtotal ceiling
Per product and variation
Product data → Order quantity limits.
- Minimum quantity allowed per order for this product

Behaviour and messages
- Prevent add to cart when a rule would break, and revert invalid updates
